By following this tutorial you will learn how to Set up your 3D scene to export a Low Poly model for uploading to your account.

Before you start - Download the Babylon GLB export Plugin. Coming Soon is the be the ability to export out native 3dsMax file formats.

Step 1 - Set up your Scene

If you have your scene set up in organised layers, you can turn off all of the High Poly assets and leave visible the Walls, Floors, Ceiling and other large structural objects you wish to navigate around.

Make sure you also have the Export Cameras visible in the scene.

Then select your objects and camera and export using the Babylon GLB file exporter.


  1. Set the Output format as GLB

  2. Set your Model path.

  3. Tick the following boxes:

  • ON - Export Only Selected

  • OFF - Save 3ds Max File


Wait for the file to be exported, you might notice some material errors which you can ignore for now.
